Muscle Maximizing Macaroni Salad Meal

Macaroni salad is a staple for group dinners and barbecues across the country, but it isn't always the healthiest option... until now! If you need a muscle maximizing meal in between working on your lean startup, this macaroni salad is just what the doctor ordered! Savor the flavor and maximize your muscle with this low-fat macaroni salad recipe!

Recipe Ingredients

- Fat Free Miracle Whip 
- 32 oz of whole grain protein macaroni 
- 1 cup diced dill pickles
- 1-1/2 cups diced mixed peppers
- 1 cups diced carrots 
- 1 cups diced celery 
- 1-1/2 to 2 cups diced onions 
- 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground flax seed

Recipe Instructions

Prepare whole grain protein macaroni according to directions and refrigerate. Chop all vegetables and mix together. After the macaroni has cooled completely, mix the veggies in with the macaroni until thoroughly blended. Add fat-free Miracle Whip until salad is sufficiently covered to the desired effect. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving and enjoy this superfood for lunch, dinner or that midnight snack!

Homemade Hot Sauce Recipe


Sometimes you just have to go green while you save some green! Homemade green hot sauce is a healthy, low calorie, and natural way to add some serious taste to your boring or bland food. You may not be used to the green color but I assure you it is just as good if not better than its more common red companion! 

Enjoy this healthy hot recipe while you make some green with your lean startup!

Ingredients 

- 2 tablespoon canola oil 
- 8 jalapeno peppers
- 5 serrano peppers 
- 1 poblano pepper
- 1/3 small red onion 
- 1/2 cup white vinegar 
- 1 cup filtered water 
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder 
- 1/2 tablespoon black pepper 
- 1/4 tablespoon cumin 
- 1 tablespoon lime juice 

Instructions

Cut up healthy and lean peppers into quarters and thoroughly slice the onion. I used the seeds and ribs of the peppers for optimal heat. Sauté in a small sauce pan with oil on medium heat. Keep a lid on it but stir often. When a majority of the peppers start to soften and the skins peel, add water and vinegar. 

Let boil for 20-30 minutes, stirring often. Let it cool a bit, then throw it in a blender. Puree the heck out of it, then add the garlic powder, black pepper, cumin and lime juice, then puree the crap out of it again. This will be a food fit for a top restaurant!

Once it cools a bit more, pour it through a strainer into a funnel into your receptacle. You will need to mush it around with a spoon and will end up with 1/4 cup of fibrous paste. Cap it and let it cool, then put it in the fridge for a few days before enjoying on a variety of healthy foods in need of serious spicy flavor!
